State of the art, Digital High Resolution Side Scan Sonar provides near photographic images of underwater objects and features. Its exceptional performance has been repeatedly demonstrated to be useful in locating objects and features large and small, from submerged wrecks to drowning victims and weapons, as well as bottom information used for biological research and survey operations. Real time color acoustic images are produced and displayed for quick analysis or can be stored for later enhancement and interpretation. Collected data can be quickly integrated into many GIS platforms. Digital position information from GPS/DGPS/LORAN is automatically overlaid for precise location. Digital image information is unaffected by low or no visibility conditions. This technology is utilized world-wide by diving and salvage companies, surveyors, archeologists, law enforcement and treasure hunters. Rogue Marine
has extensive experience surveying inshore and coastal waters, providing
accurate data in various client specified formats. We have performed surveys
under contracts administered by the U.S. Coastguard, State Governments, and
private entities in
Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. We are currently utilizing Side Scan
Sonar in hurricane debris removal projects along the Gulf Coast. |
